Is another lengthy analysis… this one diagnoses the very different etiologies of the “civil wars” inside the GOP and inside the Democratic Party. These inner spats could not be more different. Because the parties have never been more different.
The fundamental difference between the two parties, it turns out, do not have to do with specific doctrines as much as basic personality.
The chief result? That we now have a very different legislative process than the Founders envisioned.
