The Authenticated e-Phone

It seems as though an increasing number of people in the phone community are catching on to my proposals to a) provide an authentication (probably biometric) device or step for all cellphones, and to b) add e-commerce features to these phones, specifically allowing payment by phone. This is done today with PINs using typical paypal like technology, but my suggestion is that the phone become your e-wallet. All your credit cards go away, all are replaced by e-authorizations in your / through your phone, and your phone is useful only to you for such functions.
